What is the OAK GROVE FOUNDATION?
The Oak Grove Elementary School Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that was created to financially support educational programs for both the students and staff. The Foundation is an essential partner with the PTA for the betterment of our students and staff. The Foundation supports the “learn by doing” philosophy by ensuring all students have the opportunity to participate in the field trips, aligned with current California academic standards offered at every grade level. The Foundation also financially funds and helps support technology initiatives, maintain staff professional development needs, and other educational efforts.

Public School Disclosure:
As a school-connected organization, we must follow the same Constitutional guidelines related to student fees that mandate all schools and districts provide a public education to your student free of charge. Subject to certain exceptions, your right to a free public education means that neither the school nor its support organizations can require you or your family to purchase materials, supplies, equipment or specific uniforms for any school activity, nor can we require you or your family to pay security deposits or make donations in order to participate in the program. All donations are strictly voluntary and greatly appreciated as we work to support our schools and programs!
